About

AMIT INVITES INDIVIDUALS AND INSTITUTIONS TO ASSOCIATE ON THE FOLLOWING

SHASHTHAK:

Amit has invented a new theory of perceiving and interpreting music and has named it SHASHTHAK.

SHASHTHAK is a radical ‘Anatomical Key’ based theoretical practice pedagogy on musical Instrumental Performance; for setting a standard for quantifying performance and creating controlled conditions where in the elemental development of musical motion for note clusters sample(s) is achieved.
The intention is to enhance human creative manifestations based on scientific and aesthetic premise. To motivate logical learning and inclusive, open-to-all approach, where the existing pedagogical material is anatomically interpreted and calibrated. He aims to bridge a vast gap amongst the theory conservators, virtuous performers, serious listeners and scientific explorers by this innovation.

The process unfolds numerous mathematical, aesthetic and scientific logical dimensions imbibed  in the structure  of every dynamic musical action/expression of human being.

Since the year 2002, Amit started designing a software system  SAMMAS (Synchronous Anatomical Musical Motion Action System) to enable the rule-based music computing.

Current Project:
MAQAM (Musical Art Quotient Artificial Motion):
A music sequencer  for  Emulation of  Anatomical Musical Motion based on SAMMAS .

The sequencer will emulate the anatomic action of human hands and Musical instrumental Keys, when a MIDI file is imported in the program. It features virtual - real Musical Instrument(Piano Keyboard) and Human Hands on the computer screen.

Amit is seeking institutional associations to realize the  MAQAM project.
